Key Features & Typical Use
Type AC and Type A in One Frame
Type AC breakers can trip on rising sinusoidal residual currents and are used in lighting, heating and simple plug circuits. Type A incorporates pulsed DC residual currents, making it suitable for washing machines, LED drivers and switch mode power supplies within the same 125A frame.
Ratings up to 125A
The range varies from 16A to 125A offering an option above the 100A limit of numerous RCCBs present in the market making it possible to keep a normal incoming sub-distribution circuit without needing to tap it.
Six Sensitivities, One Housing
3P+N and 1P+N of the same housing can be chosen based on the need for a range of ratings from 10mA to 500mA for various applications whether for individual circuits, personnel safety or that of fire and other property protection systems.
Clear Status Indication
The color screen displays white with the apparatus open and displays red when the device is close, thus keeping the inspector informed of the status of each and every RCCB without needing to touch the switches.

EXB9L-125 AC / A — The Standard RCCB for Housing, Tertiary and Industry
The RCCB’s primary function is to monitor the electrical flow leaving and the return in a circuit and to disconnect whenever it detects that some flow has escaped through either a person, equipment, or damaged insulation. This is precisely what the EXB9L-125 AC and A RCCB does with a range of current ratings from 16A to 125A and a sensitivity of 10mA to 500mA, making this series of devices suitable for many applications ranging from protecting small circuit to large sub-distribution feeder.
The two different types differ in terms of what they measure. Type AC measures the residual AC sinusoidal currents which occur from resistive and inductive loads. Type A measures not only the above currents but also the pulsed DC residual currents that occur where electrical appliances convert the mains voltage to dc – this applies to LED drivers, washing machines, IT equipment and EV chargers in case of single phase supplies.
HUYU produces EXB9L-125 in its own manufacturing facility and supplies RCCBs on factory-direct prices to panel manufacturers, electrical wholesalers, dealers and OEMs with all the variety of OEM prints, sensitivity, and pole configurations plus full testing according to IEC/EN 61008-1.

Factory-Direct OEM / ODM Manufacturer
We Manufacture, You Brand
All of the EXB9L-125 are built and set on our own RCCB lines. The transformer, disconnection circuit and assembly are checked for sensitivity at the specified IΔn as well as for trip time. Moreover, the circuit breaker is operated mechanically before the package so as to make sure the handle and contacts come in good condition.
OEM clients have the option to determine pole setup, nominal current rating, sensitivity, and labeling; we also provide market-specific sensitivity combinations.
- OEM branding — device marking, rating labels and cartons for your brand or private label.
- ODM options — pole, current and sensitivity combinations, plus terminal variants on request.
- Test documentation — IEC/EN 61008-1 type test reports and routine calibration records.
- MOQ — flexible wholesale quantities; mixed ratings and sensitivities in one shipment.

Buying Guide
There are three main considerations when selecting an RCCB: the type of load to be applied, the current rating of the circuit in question, and the level of sensitivity needed in the application.
- Decide the type: Type AC for simple AC loads, Type A where electronics or single-phase EV charging are present.
- Match the rated current to the circuit — 16A to 125A, using the next size above the continuous load.
- Choose the sensitivity: 10mA for individual circuits, 30mA for personnel protection, 100-500mA for fire or property protection.
- Select poles: 1P+N for single-phase, 3P+N for three-phase with neutral.
- Confirm the upstream protective device providing short-circuit protection (SPCD).
- Check terminal capacity — 35mm² cable and 16mm² busbar are accommodated.
- Request samples and approve OEM marking before mass production.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between Type AC and Type A RCCB?
AC type detects only sinusoidal alternating residual currents which correspond to resistive and inductive loads such as heaters, lamps, and simple motors. In addition to this, the A type also detects pulsating DC residual currents due to the leakage signatures created by the devices that utilize rectifiers such as LED drivers, washing machines, computers, and single-phase electric vehicle chargers which implies that type A would be the right selection whenever there are such devices.
Why choose a 125A RCCB instead of a smaller one?
The RCCB is located on the side of the circuit it is intended to protect rather than on the load side. The 125A RCCB enables the protection of the large sub-distribution feeder or the incoming main supply circuit directly without branching the circuit into multiple parallel circuits. As a result, the number of components required and space on the PCB is reduced and ensures that discrimination remains simple.
What sensitivity should I select?
Generally, thirty milliamps is the accepted standard to be used in socket and lighting circuits. Ten milliamps is just appropriate for specific installation where low leakage could be of great importance. One hundred, three hundred and five hundred milliamps sensitivity levels are used for fire and property protection on larger installations.
Does the RCCB provide short circuit protection?
The answer is no. RCCB detects nothing but residual current and has no thermal or magnetic overcurrent element. Short circuit protection must be installed upstream in the form of an MCB or fuse, which rating defines the conditional short circuit current that can be handled by the RCCB . For example, the EXB9L-125 RCCB can give a rating of 10kA/6kA conditional short circuit current when installed with a compatible short circuit protection device.
How is the device mounted and wired?
It connects to a standard DIN rail (EN 60715, 35mm) by means of a quick clip and accommodates cables with a cross-section of up 35mm² or bars measuring 16mm², at 2.5N·m of torque. There are options for connecting either a wire or a pin bar from the top and from the bottom, and dual connections at the terminal enable connecting one device to others in a neat string.
